5th - 8th Grade Student Registration Days
Students entering 5th-8th grade may be registered for the 2018-2019 school year at the Morris Elementary School office from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the following days:

Monday, August 13th
Tuesday, August 14th
Wednesday, August 15th
Tuesday, August 21st
*Students Entering Kindergarten or New Students MUST bring original copy of birth certificate.
YMS FOOTBALL:
Equipment check-out for middle school football will be Friday, August 3rd from 12-3pm in the middle school lunch room.
The first practice will be Wednesday, August 8th from 5:30 to 7:30pm.

Fifth and Sixth Grade Pioneer Day is Thursday, May 17th. Students need to wear comfortable clothing and bring sunscreen & a water bottle. If students do not want cornbread and beans for lunch, they need to bring their own lunch. Students will be outside from 11-3:15, so they may wear hats. Parents are welcome to attend; please check in at YMS office first.
8th Grade Parents/Guardians:
Below is the schedule for the day of 8th Grade Promotion
Dear Parent(s):
We will be taking a field trip to Veteran’s Park for a flag ceremony on 5/16/18. We will leave at 1:45 pm, and we will walk together to the park (8th grade band will be bused with their instruments). Please sign and return the form that will be sent home Monday.
6th - 11th grade FREE SPORT PHYSICALS have been scheduled for May 16th. Physical forms will be going home with students prior to the day of physicals. Please, feel free to call the school with questions. Thank you!
