 EMERGENCY SCHOOL CLOSING PROCEDURES FOR

YUMA SCHOOL DISTRICT - 1

YUMA, COLORADO

When weather conditions are deemed too hazardous for travel to their schools, official notification of school closings will be relayed to the parents, students and school
personnel as soon as possible after 6:00 a.m. via Radio Stations KNEC FM 100.9, KATR FM 98.3 KSTC 1230 am, KNNG 104.7 FM, KPMX 105.5 FM, KNAB 104.1 FM, 1140 AM and the Denver Television Stations 9 NEWS, FOX 31, CBS CHANNEL 4, AND ABC CHANNEL 7

Persons are requested not to call the radio or TV stations or the schools because phone lines will be overloaded with necessary internal calls.

At such time, the best source of up-to-date information will be by listening to Radio Stations and the Denver TV Stations.
