State Testing

February 20, 2018

State Testing April 2, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 2018

Question: Do you know how well Yuma Middle School is doing educating your student?

ANSWER: Have students participate in state testing so there is a consistent measure of student progress.

Testing is an integral part of learning, and lets students “demonstrate what they know” and what they can do, which in turn helps us (teachers and parents) make necessary adjustments to better help them succeed.

Yuma Middle School uses and believes assessments provide us with valuable data to not only meet, but exceed our academic obligation to your student. We strive to teach curriculum aligned with state standards, and the data we receive from state testing helps us to reflect on our continued progress to promote better learning opportunities for all students.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to Yuma Middle School in making state testing a priority. If you have any questions, please call the school at (970) 848-2000 or stop in for a visit.
